5th Annual Junior Achievement Student Entrepreneurship Challenge
Igniting the Spark of Innovation
The next generation of business leaders throughout Greater Los Angeles will display their entrepreneurial savvy on Friday, April 27th, 2012. A full-scale competition, including product exhibits and business plan presentations from the top student-led businesses, will be featured during the event.
To kick off the event, acclaimed entrepreneur and entertainment producer Nely Galán will give a keynote presentation on entrepreneurship. Galán, former President of Telemundo, has owned her own media company since 1994, has launched 10 television channels in Latin America, and has produced over 600 television episodes spanning across multiple genres. Galán also starred on season one of The Celebrity Apprentice.
JASEC will culminate with a trophy presentation and awards ceremony. The winning team will have a chance to compete against student-led businesses from across North America at the North American JA Company of the Year Competition.
