HOW IT WORKS
Using state-of-the-art technology in a simulated trading environment, teams will experience the fast-paced, high-stakes thrill of the stock exchange. Each team of 4 players begins with $500,000 in fictitious funds that are used to buy stock in over 20 fictitious companies. Competing for the attention of floor traders, teams make trades in real time to buy and sell shares with the goal of building the highest ROI and highest net worth portfolio by the end of the game.
Once the opening bell is rung, the market opens and every 60 seconds is a new trading day! With 60 trading days, each day brings news through “Hot Tips” and “News Releases” from the financial markets, challenging teams to evaluate trends and make trades. Due to the volatile market, and the games frantic pace, teams will be pushed to the brink as they compete. Trading is fast, fun, and furious! The team with the highest ROI at the end of 60 days will be crowned the Stock Market Champion! 2nd place is awarded to the team with the highest portfolio value. Players on each winning team will receive individual prizes.
