Never will your time be better spent than when you inspire a child.
Imagine a generation where young people, no matter their background, know how to budget, save, and invest; a generation of tenacious individuals armed with the confidence, knowledge, and capabilities to take control of their financial futures, their careers, and achieve their goals.
As a Junior Achievement of SoCal volunteer, you will work directly with students, helping them prepare for their futures. You will be trained by our warm and knowledgeable staff on how to bring our curriculum to life in the classroom.
“It was one of the most rewarding volunteer opportunities I have participated in. What your organization is doing to help young people achieve financial literacy is so important. I really enjoyed sharing my experiences with them and answering their questions. I was able to warn them about the pitfalls of credit card debit, ways to determine the type of house to buy and some tips to save for the down payment. Thanks again for having me!”
